Snacky Mouse #catVsMouse
hello all,
about a week ago, I received a VoxBox from influenster for Temptations Snacky Mouse.
As most of you all know, I am the crazy cat lady. Between my own cats and the fosters that have through Alley Cats and Angels of North Carolina, there are usually about 10 cats in my house.
Look at how much fun they had!
Note: this post is not paid for by Temptations Cat treats or Influenster. Opinions are all my own and maybe the cats.

No less busy 'round these parts!
Hello my dear sweets!
Long Time no see, talk, blog, etc :-)
I am slowly getting my life back together.
Work has been H.E.L.L. Changes, new people, more changes, moves, not direction, UGH!
Makes one wonder should they stick around and see what happens or is it time for a change of scenery.
Currently at the house We are FULL UP.
New puppy named Mollie. If you follow me on Facebook I am sure you have seen her.

What a Month!!
Phew... I am soo ready for it to end and slow down.
Get back to normal, crafting chaos, instead of the hurry up and wait games we have here at Work.
Currently at the house We are FULL UP.
New puppy named Mollie. If you follow me on Facebook I am sure you have seen her.
13 weeks old Lab/Bull Terrier Mix and a ball of energy.
Two Puppies, 3 cats, 2 foster kittens!! Yes, of course I am still fostering kitties. So you can imagine how chaotic everything is.
Lizard moved back home. I gave her the bonus room which was my craft room and I took over her tiny room.
Lots of painting, priming, sanding had to be done to her old room since she decided to splatter paint a wall in pink and green. Not a fun weekend of being covered in dust, fumes and paint!
Now the room is a warm inviting tan called Winter Oats. Now on to the decorating of my new craft room! Pictures will one day be done ;-) (just some plain honesty there)
Oh, We also had PROM!! Mack's First... though it was her boyfriend's. My first for hair and Makeup! We were soo excited.
These two are sooo silly together! But they are a great couple.
Mack... sooo beautiful!
Want to see what is adorning my front door now that Spring is here?
Gorgeous, If I do say so myself! Inspiration came from a store off of Six Forks that I recently visited here.
And the best part is that it reaches out the grab you when you get to the door.... hahahhahahaha!
Hope to see you soon!

P.S. Don't forget to follow in Facebook and Twitter!

And where have you been, young lady?
Where I have been?
Dealing with life. Tragedy. Pain. selfishness, apron strings trying to be cut and of course the cats.
Think I am getting back on track. Hope you all are still around.
I would love to tell you all every thing that has been going on, but I am just not ready to speak about that here.
Just know that I have been thinking about my blog alot lately. It has been far to long since I have actually created and not just sat in this room staring at the blank walls contemplating what to do, what to watch, which cat to pet... kidding. No I haven't become the crazy cat lady yet. Though the family would think other wise.
Seriously though, I have been sitting here. Pinteresting at least. knowing that I can do something.
I truly hope you all understand.
Since my last post... back in October? ( Oh, who knows when) Lots has been going on here in Dragonfliez estate. Room changes. Lizard moved out. UGH! I don't know how to feel about this. Mad, sad, just want to shut out the world. But I can't. Gotta go on. Can't run away. So now I have two rooms to redo.
Anyway. Happier note I finally finished my painting... First Ever !!
If you like my Facebook Page you can see it.
Can you believe it?
Now maybe I should put it on canvas as I don't think handsome man will like me tearing out a piecce of the wall to get it down ;-)
I am also making "mug rugs" for work people.

I leave you for the day knowing that I will be back soon.
And a picture of Jax and Marley!
Maybe this is why I can't work ;-)

I know I have been a very very bad blogger.
I will be back one day.
Trying new meds for pain and anxiety. Ups and downs, downs and ups.
I did make some hair stuff for the Alley Cat and Angels Fundraiser this weekend.

A little Competition!
Sooo.. One saturday, rainy, yucky lazy day it was. Lizard and I decided to craft.
I need to make some flowers, hair bands, barrettes and such for a fundraiser for Alley Cats and Angels. If any of you locals want o donate, let me know!
Anyway, I decided to show Lizard how to make a rolled felt flower, since she refused to do the rosettes.
(Love you Liz!! I know you are reading this)
Here are mine!

trying to get the mojo back
Hello my dears,
In a valiant attempt to try to get my mojo back, I got my self settled into my craft room for the day yesterday.
After crying a bit at all the remembrance and writing my short story yesterday, I decided to put up the baby gate, bring the cats in the room with me, turn on the TV and get to work.
Mack asked me to make a flower a few weeks ago when she was visiting. I finally got around to it. If you follow me on Twitter or on Facebook You can see the picture that I sent from my Instragram account.
Then I watched the season Finale of a couple of shows that I DVR'ed. Gotta love that.
I did get a new wreath done. A la all the rolled felt flowers out there. I have never made something so easy.
Just cut a circle, cut a spiral out of that circle and roll it. EASY! How to Girl has a great tutorial. Though I start at the center of my circle for the rolling it turned out just fine.

10 years
Hello my dears,
10 years ago today we were all glued to our televisions living the horror that everyone around the world was feeling. I was leaving class listening to the radio when I heard that the first plane had hit the tower. We all thought it was a joke, until the flames were coming out of the building. Racing home and running in the door yelling to my husband what had happened. He didn't believe me, as I turned on the Today show to listen to Katie Couric speak about what was happening.
10 years ago, I remember thinking, go get the kids, and drive as far away as possible.
10 years ago, I was still married to my first husband. I was in college. I wasn't happy with my life.
10 years ago, I was trying to get out but with 2 children, no money it was a hard decision.
It didn't happen.
9 years ago, I was in a car accident that made me think about my life and realize I was not happy. Time to get out.
Of course, we must never and can never forget the horror that happened. The pain of the victims. The pain and heart-wrenching silence when the towers fell.
My way of dealing with this was to remember my Military training, patriotism and trusting in myself.
