Hope you are having a better weekend than mine.
First off my wallet was stolen sometime Thursday afternoon after I went to gas up my vehicle. No clue when, just know it was not in my purse last night when I went to pick up some foster kitties. Thank goodness my credit cards weren't in that wallet. Only my debt card, $16 and my driver license. So off to DMV monday to get a duplicate made. Yay, just the place I want to go after work. Hopefully I can get it done online.
Second, 2 more kitties in the mix. 7 total. Yes, I am becoming the crazy cat lady. ;-)
We now have Gabby, Gizmo, ( 3 orange tabbies; 2 girls and a boy) and Gilligan. Gordon the little sweet black kitty. I will try to get pictures of all of them together.
Third, I know you all have been waiting on a picture of the baby quilt I did for SIL.
So without further ado The baby quilt!
Check out my little Helper! |
Some detail |
I also made a flower to go with it out of the left over material. It is removable from the quilt so SIL can put it on some other place so the baby won't get hurt or eat it.
Also, my first ever covered Button! |
So the Baby shower was great! SIL made out like a bandit. The cutest baby girl clothes I have seen in a while. And the most darling pillowcase dress with a little story of how the pillow case dresses came about. Though I have tried looking googling the origin of pillowcase dresses I have yet to come up with something.
I also did yet another pair of booties.
don't why they look so wrinkled |
Of course Marley had to help out. |
SIL loved both of them and I am glad. ;-)
Until next time,
Hugs!!
